it's a pity, VCam does not support PowerPoint! ChromaCam - also a virtual cam (from your competitor) - delivers a steam to PowerPoint.
Still I find the Video quality of XSpit VCam is a tick better, so it would be great if you are doing the step, also supporting PowerPoint ...

MarcoTo clarify the request a little: PowerPoint allows slide presentations to be accompanied by spoken comments (recording). In this context, it is possible to overlay the speaker as a video stream, where the background functions of the virtual camera would also be ideal.
Teacher and lecturer often use this function to create simple online learning modules. -

cheesy-rambo AdminVCam 2.0 Beta installer is now available for download -> https://community.xsplit.com/t/vcam-2-0-beta-is-here-2x-improved-ai-hardware-driver-installation-image-and-video-background-configuration
If you're having an issue with PowerPoint not discovering VCam as a camera, please try to install the hardware driver. https://321.show/vsMLyheyEcx
NOTE: Before installing the hardware driver, we recommend uninstalling 1.2 version first. More info in the link. -

StephanBut so how does this actually work then? How can we insert a box in a ppt presentation that contains our (background removed) webcam feed?

DaleIt's really disappointing that the current beta does not remove the background. It doesn't show it as being transparent in PowerPoint and instead just replaces it with plain black.

cheesy-rambo AdminIt's possible that Powerpoint does not support ARGB32 and alpha transparency. Check this link for more info: https://www.xsplit.com/support/vcam/troubleshooting/background-removal-is-not-working
