Enjoying the product so far. But one major drawback is the lack of support for BlueJeans video conference. Works fine with others but it seems BlueJeans does not recognize the VCam driver.

cheesy-rambo AdminI was able to set XSplit VCam as camera in Blue Jeans https://321.show/KqKxcNUI0sT.
If VCam feed in Blue Jeans shows just the VCam logo, try clicking the refresh icon (after the camera source name) in VCam app. -

SpencerIt's not working for me with version 2.18.39.0. Can you confirm which version you used in the screenshot?
-
03 Mar, '20
cheesy-rambo AdminI'm also using BlueJeans Version 2.18.39.0. What version of XSplit VCam are you using?
Are you able to see XSplit VCam in BlueJeans camera list?
If you're able to select XSplit VCam as the camera, is it just showing the VCam logo screen? -
04 Mar, '20
SpencerI'm using Vcam version 1.2.2001.1602. I don't see Vcam in the BlueJeans camera list.

cheesy-rambo AdminOur devs were able to replicate the issue. We'll try to get this fixed in the next week or two. I'll update here when the fix is ready.

Chris IvoryIs there an update to this?
-
16 Mar, '20
MattAny update? Fairly critical now that many people are working from home
-
20 Mar, '20
Matt DCan this be expedited? We’re all working from home now, so this is important.

GazreynHey Matt, we know that this is an issue and it's being looked in to and worked on. However, as a temporary work around, can I suggest using the BlueJeans web app instead of the Desktop App?
From our testing and checking, VCam works perfectly find in the browser and works when using the BlueJeans web app. -
25 Mar, '20
MattI figured that out and is what I'm doing now. Thanks for the input.

KonstantinHi! I have a same problem with BlueJeans 2.19.465.0 and xsplit vcam 1.2.2003.2802. BlueJeans doesn't see vcam.
-
03 Apr, '20
HLevringWe investigated the issue and it looks like the BJ client continuesly restarts the camera when the BJ window looses and regains focus. This logic interferes with VCam's auto shutdown logic which is the cause of the problem.
We will aim to release an update next week which should resolve the issue. The VCam client will automatically prompt to install the update, but we will advise on this thread as soon as we have pushed this out. -
03 Apr, '20
HLevringAs a temporary solution you can start up VCam manually (windows key + type VCam) before starting BJ client, and then just minimize to the tray. If you do this it will not get shot down and it will not really use any resources anyway unless used.
-
06 Apr, '20
TBIf I use the web browser it does work, but if I do your suggestion of launching vcam first then starting the BJ client, It still doesn't give me a XSPlit camera choice. Just my original camera. Not a big deal since you are working on a fix, but thought I'd post this in case I'm doing something wrong.

MdeeHey Team - another one who is having issues with Xsplit Vcam with Bluejeans. It doesn't come up as camera option to select at all and the web app also doesn't recognise it either.
Any chance of this being expedited, it's important more than ever WFH. -
09 Apr, '20
AlI only bought the license for bluejeans use, so this is disappointing - Chromacam supports bluejeans but (apart from the BJ thing) yours is the better product
-
10 Apr, '20
MikeAlso just purchased this so I can use with Bluejeans - the background removal is a really solid feature compared to others I tried. I also have it simply not available in the list of cameras, BJ version 2.12.529.0. I see you are working on it, hoping for a quick turnaround.

Eberhard WolffSame here - Bluejeans support would be really great!

Michael FrandsenCan confirm BlueJeans web app finds VCam as a camera, but the desktop app of blueJeans doesnt.
Having started the web app first so the Vcam is started and then starting the BlueJeans desktop app, does indeed then list the Vcam as a camera.
Vcam version 1.2.2004.1301
BlueJeans desktop App version 2.19.465.0 -

YannickSame issue with "Bluejeans" Desktop version 2.6.786.0 and XSplit VCam 1.2.2004.1301
But for Windows 8 & 10 user if instead of the Desktop Application version you use the Apps "Blue Jeans" Version 1.37.22 it works ! -

AlHi on the 3rd you said an update was coming next week - what's the ETA now?
-
24 Apr, '20
SamHi,
Multiple updates have been recently released for Vcam but none has fixed the problem. Do you have any ETA please? -
24 Apr, '20
Rowan TrollopeIn the interim, use the 32-bit version of the BlueJeans app with Vcam. It's sorta buried on the BlueJeans website downloads page (drill down to the "Deploy tools for IT admiistrators" in the Windows section, then look for the "Note if you have users on 32-bit machines, you will need to deploy our 1.x App" sentence.. *Then*, look for the "Windows - Per Machine Build 1.37.19" link).
Uninstall the 64-bit app first, then install the 32-bit 1.37.19 MSI file. -
28 Apr, '20
Etienne LessardA work around the issue is using OBS virtual web cam. The basic is Xsplit to OBS and OBS to bluejeans. Not a easy solution tough, there is some configuration to do and plugin to add to OBS.

cheesy-rambo AdminRetested using latest app versions - BlueJeans 2.19.791.0 + XSplit VCam 1.2.2004.2201.
I noticed when I "Join as guest", only my camera devices are listed and not my virtual camera apps including XSplit VCam.
Please try these steps. I have retested this just now and it worked.
1. Re-install BlueJeans
2. Run BlueJeans and login. (If you "Join as guest" it won't list VCam)
3. At this point, you will not see VCam yet in BlueJeans
4. Restart BlueJeans
5. VCam should now be available in list -

Alnope :( followed above, still only seeing webcam and chromacam
-
08 May, '20
Jason ThompsonThis seems like a failure in BlueJeans, not VCam.
-
08 May, '20
Rowan TrollopeMe neither (the steps cheesy-rambo posted). I still have to fall back to installing and using the 32-bit BlueJeans app to recognize VCam as a camera source.
-
11 May, '20
BradI tried those steps and it worked for me. I made sure I was using the latest version of both programs. Bluejeans does minimize to the tray and you need to right-click and then select quit to make it exit. I also made sure to have xsplit running in the background during the whole process. If it doesn't work the first time maybe try uninstalling bluejeans and then starting xsplit as admin and try again.
-
14 May, '20
TBI also tried the steps that Cheesy-rambo posted. Does not work.
-
16 May, '20
Al2 months on from "solution next week" can we have an update - this clearly is not fixed or it would be working for all
-
18 May, '20
ChrisSame here really want xsplit to work on the latest bluejeans client.
-
18 May, '20
Benjamin RanouldI'm giving up on using Xsplit Vcam. Using the 32-bit BlueJeans version or the webrtc/browser flavor is not optimal with Vcam.. I can't give up the feature set of the native BlueJeans 64-bit client over having the ability to have virtual backgrounds. Can't recommend this product.
-
28 May, '20
Jochen MantelBlueJeans is the choice of the company. I've tried the free version within a browser. That worked as expected. No way for now with 1.2.2004.2201 and BJ/64bit. Will only buy SW when it works here as well.

cheesy-rambo AdminHi all! VCam 2.0 Beta installer is now available for download -> https://community.xsplit.com/t/vcam-2-0-beta-is-here-2x-improved-ai-hardware-driver-installation-image-and-video-background-configuration
For those who have issues with applications not discovering VCam as a camera, please try to install the hardware driver. https://321.show/vsMLyheyEcx
NOTE: Before installing the hardware driver, we recommend uninstalling 1.2 version first. More info in the link. -
22 Jun, '20
DeeThe new beta (with hardware driver) allows BlueJeans to see Xsplit now, but I have another issue where the video input is now upside down!
Anyone else having this issue as well? -
22 Jun, '20
SamHi,
I have the same issue: my video is upside down now -
22 Jun, '20
ChrisSame! Vid is upside down.
-
22 Jun, '20
cheesy-rambo AdminPlease log in to BlueJeans, then restart BlueJeans.
We we're able to replicate the issue but was fixed after doing those steps. Let me if that resolves the upside down issue. -
23 Jun, '20
JochenDidn't solve the issue. Still upside down. BJ: 2.21.292.0 VCam: 2.0.2006.1902

ArdasMy Xsplit cam workin with every videoconferencing tools except BlueJeans. I have read the conversations and followed the past successful experiences. None worked for me. I will need step by step direction if I run the BlueJeans as a web app or as a desktop app how to correct upside down my camera view. I wish there was a rotation option on Xsplit so at least we had a chance to rotate the incorrect view. If I don’t solve this, I have to drop Xsplit while most of my conferences are on BlueJeans

Christopher RiceSame problem here, Upside down with xsplit.
-

EugeneSame thing. Using XCam (latest) with BlueJeans, video is upside down.

Eric JorgensenMy image is upside down. XSplit 2.0.2008.2502, BJ 2.25.203.0
-

Eric JorgensenAs a workaround, would be great if you just added a feature to flip/rotate the video image from xsplit.
