I bought VCam thinking that at least one webcam and even professional cameras would work. In my case I don't use WebCam because it's using too much internal memory. I use a Sony camera because I don't need to use software. You could update the program to receive from WebCam to the most advanced camera. because a WebCam-only program weighs heavily on the internal memory of any device

Helio SantosI already use the avermedia capture card. The problem is that the Van is for amateurs, even if it doesn’t work remotely, you have to keep your face in front of the webcam because if you move at least a foot away, the image is already bad. unfortunate for a company of this size to launch software that only works even if you sit in front of the camera

CosineAdditionally, being able to manually modify the depth/distance at which vcam cuts you from the background would be great. Say a slider in the app as an advanced control. For streaming things where you're not right in front of a computer, like when I do DJ livestreams I'm a few feet from my pro camera connected to an Elgato CamLink. It otherwise works fine but vcam cuts me and most of my gear out if I try to remove the background.

John HaugelandAgreed, I have video import hardware and a nice 4k camcorder, and would love to use it for meetings
