I have skype4b and it is very irritating when xsplitvcam auto start at login everytime as skype4b is active. I dont want xspiltvcam to start automatically ever. A setting would be much appreciated. My work around is deinstall when we do not use this app. Install when needed.

MikeSame issue here. Dell G5 5587 with Intel 630 and Dell 1060 GPU. VCAM start on start-up an uses 5% + resources of the CPU -> fan is running high. The internal webcam is switched on - is somebody watching ... ??? Could find any start-up arguments in registry or VCam configuration. Seems not to be on a friend's Surface Pro 6 with Intel only GPU.
Please fix as soon as possible.
PS: Cyperlink's cam is working correctly as the only or in parallel installation. -

Henrik LevringGuys, thanks for the feedback. We will address this issue asap in the next update.
Short explanation for those who are wondering why it happens: VCam starts automatically when its capture filter is created by another app, Some apps may enum capture filters when they start up and create/destroy VCam filter only to inspect capabilities which results in Vcam being left in the tray. We will fix this and ensure to only start Vcam application when applications request to render output, -

LucasSo are you going to fix it or are you going to refund my purchase? It doesn't just do it at startup, program thinks it can open itself whenever it'd like which is a serious issue when streaming.
