Marcel KrausertIt works if you use 3rd Party apps like "DroidCam". But native support from VCam would of course be great!

FabianVCam does not work with DroidCam for me :/
Every other program I tried works with DroidCam so this is definitely a VCam issue! -

DaniI would love to see this option available as I don't have a webcam on my desktop. Fabian, it does work for me. VCam has issues with Edge. I switched to Chrome- problem solved. Customer Support was instrumental in the resolve. They responded same day and was pleasant to work with.

WillHi folks,
The "fix" for this is either for VCam to work with directshow filters, VCam adding support to read a remote MJPEG stream or using a third party bit of software that does the above and registers a webcam driver.
Good news! There's one that actually exists! - https://splitcam.com/
I used this for 6+ months with vcam and it works fine (unless my PC runs out of CPU)
EDIT: and I see that the latest version has just added support for directshow filters in "Show virtual cameras" So you can pretty much use any software at this point. -

VamFor the Vcam Connect app for android.
Please add USB (with USB debugging developer option enabled in android) connection, WIFI has too much latency.
Please add audio support from the mic or external mic plugged, from the mobile phone, to be streamed together with the video source, so it is synced. -

HenrikMake sure to install the latest published XSplit Connect app, and update VCam to latest public version (only prompted yesterday) and then follow this:
https://www.xsplit.com/support/connect-webcam/troubleshooting/xsplit-connect-usb
NOTE: You need to use a high quality cable that is not loose etc. -

GuillaumeHello, why can't you use the blur when using the phone camera? If I use DroidCam I can.

WilliamA future feature to add to this would be the ability to capture from a remote phone, to have a "field camera" view brought in live to a broadcast in Broadcaster: would be great for live events.
